Physical Fitness
We have an in-house premier fitness studio that offers fitness classes, personal trainers, nutrition counseling, and corporate wellness. The trainers at Tailwind Fitness are skilled, highly qualified, and certified professionals.
Canine Therapy
Physical Therapy for dogs! Optimize your canine’s rehabilitation through hydrotherapy. Our personalized care compliments veterinarians and veterinary hospitals by adding hydrotherapy rehabilitation, fitness training and weight control for our four-legged friends.

Tailwind Physical Therapy was founded by Jeff Royter in 2006. At Tailwind, each patient is treated individually incorporating manual and exercised-based therapy. Whether you are seeking therapy after surgery, a sports-related injury or to improve balance and mobility, our staff is here to help you on your ride to recovery.

Jeff Royter
Jeff received his Masters in Physical Therapy from Idaho State in 1993, and an orthopedic certification specialty in 2001, Jeff settled in Spokane with his wife Kimber, where they support a passion for outdoor activities with their two boys, and two Labrador Retrievers. Jeff is an avid road cyclist and mountain biker, telemark and cross-country skier.

Sam grew up in Spokane before attending Western Washington University to graduate with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He used his schooling to develop his passion of cycling with coaching and bike fitting. Since moving back from Bellingham, Sam and his wife Mackenzie enjoy a balance of outdoors, travel and family

Giving Back to the Spokane Community’s Working Dogs
Tailwind’s founders, Jeff and Kimber, have a huge heart for dogs. Inspired by their golden lab, Tucker, they set out to provide physical therapy for all four-legged friends to give them the best life possible. For working dogs, their jobs can be hard on their bodies – hydrotherapy with an underwater treadmill can aid in rehabilitation, fitness training and even weight control. The need for Tucker’s Canine Therapy Foundation was clear.
Our foundation provides free canine physical therapy to:
